Bid results are
attached. Three bids were received for each unit with Taylor Home Improvements submitting
the lowest responsible bid for both dwelling units.
FINANCIAL IMPACT: The HOME Investment Partnership Program provides funding for this
program.
RECOMMENDATION(S):
The Manager recommends awarding the following housing rehabilitation contract:
Dwelling Unit
Bid Amount
Contractor
Battle - 517 Hillsborough St.; Chapel Hill $26,960 Taylor Home Improvements
Jacobs - #2 Jay Street; Chapel Hill $15,300 Taylor Home Improvements
