He said Mebane's board is about to make <br />changes to its board, and Orange County needs to re- engage with the Mebane. <br />Chair Dorosin suggested scheduling a good neighbor program with Mebane. <br />Commissioner Marcoplos said there is a meeting scheduled for the fall and it may be <br />wise to get to know the Mebane board a bit first. <br />Commissioner Rich said Mebane was not in the Schools Adequate Public Facilities <br />Ordinance ( SAPFO) numbers. <br />Bonnie Hammersley said Mebane is included in the numbers. <br />Travis Myren said staff did make a SAPFO presentation to the Mebane board a couple <br />of months ago. He resumed the presentation: <br />Register of Deeds — page 428 ( page 32 on slide) <br />• Total expenditure budget - $1,024,923 <br />■ Net County Costs Decreased by ($148,890) <br />• Revenue Changes - ($188,600) <br />• Excise Stamps on Property Sales — ($203,000) <br />• Decrease in Revenue for Birth Certificates, Death Certificates, etc. <br />$12,500 <br />• Register of Deeds — page 428 -page 33 slide - graph <br />Tax Administration — page 462 <br />• Total expenditure budget - $3,740,619 <br />■ Increase of $30,115 over FY2017 -18 <br />• Targeted Reductions in Operating Expenses Due to Operating Efficiencies — <br />($129,200) <br />• Add 1.0 FTE Collections Specialist for EMS Billing - $72,450 <br />• Emphasis on Timely Billing and Collections <br />• Includes $20,000 for Office Renovation <br />• Offset by Increase in EMS Revenue in Emergency Services <br />
