He said staff works very closely with landowners to insure there are documents that prohibit some things, while retaining the flexibility to allow the landowner to have multiple uses on the property to benefit the landowner. He said if the word gets out that the County is going to have a zero tolerance policy for enforcement issues, it is possible that conservation easements will no longer be granted. Chair Dorosin said John Roberts sent out an email about new legislative bills, and some bills were described as "ratified." He said he is unsure whether the Governor has signed these bills. John Roberts said everything he sent today has been ratified, except for the serious land use one. He said ratified means both houses have passed it, but not yet signed by the Governor. 11. *Appointments a. Adult Care Home Community Advisory Committee — Appointment The Board considered making an appointment to the Adult Care Home Community Advisory Committee. Chair Dorosin said it looks like 50% of this board is vacant. Donna Baker said the board said it is working on this. Chair Dorosin asked if anyone is in training. Donna Baker said she does not know. Chair Dorosin asked if there is a minimum amount of board seats that need to be filled. Donna Baker and John Roberts said they did not know. Chair Dorosin said maybe this board is too big. Commissioner Price said this group meets at 3pm in the afternoon, which can be difficult for some. Chair Dorosin perhaps this can be revisited in the fall, as it is troubling to see a board that is half vacant. A motion was made by Commissioner Jacobs, seconded by Commissioner Rich to appoint the following to the ACHCAC: • Reappointment to an additional term (Position #8) "At- Large" position for Gloria Brown, MSW expiring 06/30/2020. VOTE: UNANIMOUS b. Agricultural Preservation Board (APB) —Appointments The Board considered making appointments to the Agricultural Preservation Board (APB). A motion was made by Commissioner McKee, seconded by Commissioner Price to appoint the following to the APB: • Reappointment to an additional term (Position #5) "Schley /Eno Volunteer Ag. Dist." representative for Nels Anderson expiring 06/30/2021. • Reappointment to an additional term (Position #8) "At- Large" representative for Richal Vanhook expiring 06/30/2021.
