Due to this fact, the Orange County FSA Office has <br />scheduled a County Emergency Board Meeting for Tuesday, ,Tune <br />25, 2002 at 2 :00 pm to' be held at the Orange County <br />Agricultural and Planning Building located at 306 Revere <br />Road in Hillsborough. The meeting will be conducted in the food lab of the Orange County <br />Agricultural Extension Service Office. This Board will consist of representatives from the Orange County <br />FSA Office, Orange County Natural Resource Conservation Service, and the Orange County North <br />Carolina Cooperative Extension Office. <br />During the County Emergency Board Meeting, we will be discussing the effects of the long term drought <br />and excessive heat on the producers and crops of Orange County for crop year 2002 in which your input <br />would be greatly appreciated. Therefore, I am inviting all Orange County FSA County Committeepersons <br />along with Orange County FSA Community Committeepersons to attend this meeting to help secure any <br />and all information in regard to drought conditions within Orange County. With this information, we will <br />request any and all assistance that may be available through the United States Department of Agriculture <br />for the farmers and ranchers of Orange County. <br />If you should have any questions regarding this notice, please feel free to contact our office.
