HUMAN SERVICES ADVISORY COMMISSION <br />APRIL 18, 1994 <br />MINUTES <br />The regular meeting of the Human Services Advisory <br />Commission was held on Monday, April 18, 1994 at 7:30 p.m. in the <br />Commissioner's Conference Room, Government Services Center, <br />Hillsborough, NC. <br />MEMBERS PRESENT: Co -Chair Karen Taylor, and members Shirley <br />Siegle, Martha Branscombe, Barbara Warren, Page Fisher, Tony <br />Dalton, Beverly Foster, Jan Riordan, Reverend Curtis Tyler, and <br />Mary Bacon. <br />MEMBERS ABSENT: EXCUSED: Mary Davison, Don Willhoit and Jan <br />Schopler UNEXCUSED: Letitia Kelly and Phil Cooke. <br />STAFF PRESENT: Albert Kittrell, Assistant County Manager, Kathy <br />Baker, Deputy Clerk to the Board. <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES: A motion was made by Shirley Siegle, <br />seconded by Barbara Warren, to approve the minutes of the March <br />21, 1994 meeting as corrected. <br />VOTE: UNANIMOUS <br />ANNOUNCEMENTS: Reports from members of the Human Services <br />Management Team will be scheduled for the May HSAC meeting. <br />Karen Taylor reported that several of the funding agencies have <br />added questions to the non - profit agency funding application. <br />Jan Schopler, Chair of the Human Services Coordinating Council, <br />has indicated that the Council is attempting to have these <br />questions included in the main application. <br />REVIEW OF FUNDING APPLICATION: Remainder of the meeting was <br />devoted to reviewing the funding applications. <br />There being no further business the meeting was adjourned. <br />The next regular meeting of the Human Services Advisory <br />Commission is scheduled for May 16, 1994 at 7:30 p.m. in the new <br />Government Services Center, 200 S.
