11 <br />39)Support legislation to allow counties to collect fees to <br />offset the cost of restaurant inspections; <br />40) ** Support legislation to allow counties to collect an <br />additional 50 on court costs to help fund capital, <br />operational, and other needs associated with ever- <br />increasing judicial activities; <br />41) ** Support legislation to eliminate the verification <br />process, have cancellations stand on their own merit, <br />record them based on the same criteria used to record <br />other real estate - related documents, and reduce Register <br />of Deeds liability associated with cancellation process, <br />or, in the alternative, allow counties to begin charging <br />regular recording fees for Notices of Satisfaction and <br />Certificates of Satisfaction associated with Deeds of <br />Trust since there is currently no fee for recording <br />cancellations; <br />42)Support legislation that, in the event county <br />regulation /inspection of body piercing establishments is <br />state - mandated, adequate state funding is included to <br />address the additional county cost, or, as an <br />alternative, counties are allowed to collect fees to <br />offset the cost of the regulation /inspection activities; <br />11 <br />
