Attachment LA <br />SUMMARY OF AFFORDABLE HOUSING POLICIES AND ORDINANCE PROVISIONS. <br />Chapel Hill <br />Size - limited <br />Developers of a major subdivision or a planned <br />development with 5 or more single family or two <br />family residential lots, 25% of units must be less than <br />1,350 sf <br />Affordable Density Bonus <br />Residential Special Standards — Conditional, allows 12 <br />units per acre, a l Oft minimum street back and no <br />buffer requirements. 100% of units must be affordable <br />and have a long -term affordability component <br />Affordable Housing Policy <br />The Council's expectation is that any request for a <br />residential rezoning provide a 15% affordable housing <br />feature. <br />Affordable Housing Payment in <br />May be considered as an alternative.
