English as a Second Language (ESL) Students <br />The higher proportion of Hispanic and Asian students for CHCCS probably <br />contributes to the much higher proportion of ESL students shown in Table 9. Overall, <br />CHCCS have more than three times the numbers of ESL students than OCS. ESL students <br />` <br />are identified as those whose primarily language is other than English. This translates into 17.1% for <br />OCS as compared with 11% for CHCCS. For both CHCCS and OCS students with learning <br />disabilities, speech and language difficulties, and other health impairments are the most <br />common classifications.
