If you need <br />additional information please let me know. <br />1. Identify all CIP Projects including supporting information. <br />• As you are aware we have obligated the majority of our CIP to the construction of the new high <br />school. We do have some other projects outside the high school construction, and I have enclosed <br />a copy of the projects and their completion dates. Again, there are no new projects, and the work <br />is ongoing. <br />2. Status on new elementary and high school. <br />• New Elementary School — This school is scheduled to open August 2000. The site has been <br />cleared and the building pad could go down in. a few weeks. You have a cash flow sheet on this <br />project, and there have been no major changes. I have enclosed the sheet on the high school and <br />the elementary school for your information. <br />• New High School — We have closed on the land purchase, approximately 66 acres across the street <br />from Grady Brown Elementary. Our plan is to open this school August 2002. We will begin <br />clearing the site by selling -the timber over the next few months. There have been some <br />preliminary meetings with internal groups about the design and program requirements. This <br />school will be constructed to accommodate 1000 students. <br />3. The construction cost for A. L. Stanback is included on a separate spreadsheet. <br />4. The construction cost of New Hope Elementary is listed below; however, we are unable to <br />itemize information about the construction cost: <br />• Bond <br />$5,991,000.00 <br />• IBM <br />$1,000,000.00 <br />• Triangle J. Council <br />$ 250,000.00 <br />• Public School Building Fund <br />$2,220,351.00 <br />• Pay As You Go Funds <br />$ 642,158.00 <br />Total <br />$10,103,509.00 <br />J- <br />
