• I was accepted into the next Municipal and County Administration Program at UNC <br />School of Government. Classes start September 18, 2018 and run through April 12, 2019. <br />I’ve heard nothing but great things about this program. Faculty at UNC feels this will <br />complement the NC Public Health Leadership Institute work really well. <br /> <br />Upcoming Events <br />• September 18-21, 2018 – NCPHA Conference in Charlotte, NC. <br />o OCHD Environmental Health will participate in Poster Presentation; Victoria <br />Hudson, Interim EH Director also wrote an article that was featured in the July <br />2018 NCPHA Newsletter; “Environmental Health Readies for a Historic <br />Temperature Change: Keep Cold Foods 41°F or Below” <br />o Nicholas Cordeiro, Public Health Nurse II, will participate n a Panel Presentation <br />titled, Oral Health: Identifying Dental Practices in Ten NC Counties Accepting <br />Pregnant Women Within the Medicaid Population. <br />
