Mission, Vision, and Values <br />CURRENT <br /> <br />VISION: All children and families have the <br />opportunities and support they need to thrive <br />in school, jobs and the community. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />MISSION: The Family Success Alliance is a <br />collective impact initiative to close the <br />achievement gap and end generational <br />poverty in Orange County, North Carolina. A <br />diverse group of parents, elected officials, <br />community organizations, and government <br />partners have come together to improve <br />children’s chances for educational and <br />economic opportunities with a seamless <br />“pipeline” of evidence-based programs, <br />services, and supports from cradle to college <br />and career. <br />FUTURE <br /> <br />VISION: Break the cycle of poverty so <br />that children and families in Orange <br />County thrive in school, jobs, and life. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />MISSION: Through collective impact <br />approach, connect families to <br />resources and empower them as <br />change leaders so that all families in <br />poverty have the opportunity to be <br />successful. <br /> <br />Values <br /> <br />Work collaboratively towards a shared mission and vision of FSA <br />Embrace the family (2Gen) <br />Be committed to racial equity and inclusion <br />Guided by the wisdom of families <br />Be outcome-oriented <br />Understand that relationships are “the work” <br />Actively participate and be accountable <br />
