In May <br />and June, data were collected to draft a Foundational Assessment that included <br />interviews, focus groups, and an online survey. These data informed the work of the <br />committee: <br />Parents: 2 focus groups conducted (in Spanish and Burmese) and interviews with <br />11 parents who are currently enrolled with FSA. <br />Other Stakeholders: focus group with ten agencies who receive funding from <br />United Way as a part of FSA and interviews with 14 other key stakeholders. <br />Staff: Interviews with five Navigators <br />Online Survey: An online survey was distributed through FSA’s listserv and by <br />email directly to other key stakeholders in mid-May and was open for 2 weeks. <br />There were 58 respondents. <br /> <br />The committee met on July 10 and August 8 to draft a strategic plan framework. During <br />August, the committee is gathering input from the Board of Health, FSA Advisory Council, <br />and parents, and then the committee will meet again on September 5 to finalize the <br />draft. We will gather additional feedback throughout September and then present a final <br />draft for review and approval to the Council in October. <br /> <br />There will be a public loopback session on September 17 from 2-4pm, location TBC. <br />
