For each, briefly describe the coordinated /collaborative efforts. <br />• The Orange County Historical Museum collaborates frequently with Free Spirit Freedom, <br />an Orange County cultural arts initiative, promoting and supporting events and exhibits <br />highlighting ethnic and social aspects of the culture and history of African - American, <br />Native American and other traditionally marginalized communities. <br />• This year is the WWI Centennial and the OCHM is collaborating with the Alliance for <br />Historic Hillsborough and the Hillsborough Garden Club. <br />• The museum currently recruits interns from various departments of N.C. State, UNC- <br />Greensboro, UNC- Chapel Hill, Duke, and Elon University to encourage students to intern <br />and volunteer at the Orange County Historical Museum and aid in the continued <br />improvement of exhibits.
