z <br />FINANCIAL IMPACT: Total cast of the equipment acquisition, if approved by the Board, would <br />be $24,500. Sufficient funds are available within the FY 2000-01 Solid Waste Management <br />budget, with $22,500 budgeted for this equipment and the additional $2,000 available from <br />underexpenditures in other capital accounts. <br />RECOMMENDATION(S): The Manager recommends that the Board award the bid to Tri-State <br />Process Equipment Company of Monroe, North Carolina in the amount of $24,500; and authorize <br />the Purchasing Director to execute the necessary paperwork. <br />
