The agreement was approved in June of 200.3. <br />The Interlocal Agreement provides funding for HS #3 in a base amount of $27,800,000 <br />and additional funding of $2,200,000 if the Board of Education satisfies the "smart <br />growth principles" as defined in Addendum "B". The agreement was approved in June of <br />2004. Each is explained sepazately below.. <br />Base <br />According to the Interlocal Agreement, a base funding amount of $27,800,000 was <br />agreed upon. A Capital Ordinance for the base amount has been approved by the County <br />Commissioners for that amount. The exact language of the ordinance is provided below.. <br />3. The BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS agrees to appropriate a total of $27,800,000 <br />for the total of all of the elements contained in the Standards for CHCCS high school #3 <br />with funding from bonds (approved for CHCCS elementary school #10), impact fees and <br />alren:ative financing, <br />In that agreement, if'the amount needed for the high school exceeds the base amount, the <br />Board of Education would have to pay the overage from C1P pay-as-you-go funds that <br />
