It is expected that a student at Phillips
Middle School will be exposed to at least four different types of
performances during their three years at the school, including but
not limited to dance, music, plays, storytelling, acrobatics, etc.
Most years, the PTSA underwrites four performances at the school:
one performance attended by all students that is held in the school
gymnasium and one performance for each grade to be held in the
school auditorium.*
*A performance by Black Box Dance Theatre that will be attended by
all students in grades 6 -8 is being planned for February. This
performance is not included in this grant request.
