DocuSign Envelope ID: 9E1F355E- 98F3 -4A36- 9415- DF30F26C06BE <br />Artist Experience Founded in 2016, the Curious Theatre Collective is comprised of five <br />women who together have decades of experience writing, acting, <br />composing, and directing. CTC's first play, Sally's Ride: To Space <br />and Beyond!, was performed for more than 1,800 students in <br />elementary schools in Chapel Hill and Cary in 2018. The script writing <br />and music composition for Sally's Ride was led by Chapel Hill -based <br />Emma and Julie. <br />Emma Nadeau is an actor, musician, dancer, and stage manager. <br />She has her BA from Oberlin College, and has performed in a number <br />of Triangle -based bands, including Lost in the Trees, whose music <br />was featured on NPR in their Tiny Desk series, and in the Wall Street <br />Journal (Best Album of 2012). She has performed and stage <br />managed plays at The ArtsCenter, PlayMakers Repertory Company, <br />and Little Green Pig. <br />Juliet Kaplan is an award - winning composer, and has created work <br />with choreographers, playwrights and multimedia artists. Her music <br />has been performed throughout the U.S., in the Czech Republic, <br />Nepal, and on Kansas Public Radio. Juliet is also an actor with the <br />Transactors Improv Company, the longest running improv company <br />in the South. She teaches improv to children at Rashkis Elementary <br />school, and to adults at the People's Improv Theater in Chapel Hill. <br />It was interesting, and such a learning opportunity for all kids! <br />It brought science alive for my students.
