DocuSign Envelope ID: 9826C043- 4C32- 49CD- A4CC- DC28ABAB7CE7 <br />SECTION 236000 - COMMON WORK RESULTS FOR HVAC <br />In case of conflict, notify Designer before proceeding with installation. <br />Refer to architectural drawings for exact building dimensions and location of partition walls, doors, <br />chases, etc. <br />HVAC drawings are not to be scaled for such dimensions. <br />E. The drawings and specifications complement each other and together are intended to give a complete <br />description of the work. <br />1. Any item of equipment or note of work to be done as shown on plans and not mentioned in the <br />specifications, or mentioned in specifications and not shown in plans, shall be furnished the same as if <br />mentioned or shown in both places. <br />2. If conflicts exist, then the most stringent method shown or described shall apply. <br />F. Any switches, controls, or equipment included in this contract work (drawings and /or specifications) that are <br />not specifically shown on drawings shall be located for convenient use and access. <br />G. Contractor shall coordinate all equipment arrangement and lay -out in field prior to beginning any actual <br />installation of his work. <br />H. If Contractor notes any discrepancy, omission, or conflict found in plans or specifications, he shall call to the <br />immediate attention of the Designer, prior to receipt of bids. <br />I. It is the intention that piping, air ducts and light fixtures are designed and laid out to clear each other. <br />1. It shall be the responsibility of this Contractor to coordinate his work with that of other trades to avoid <br />any such conflicts. <br />2. Any conflicts that occur after work of one trade is installed and was not prior coordinated shall be <br />relocated or rearranged at the total expense of this Contractor, as directed by Designer. <br />3. Any conflicts that cannot be corrected in field by relocation or elevation changes shall be reported to <br />the Designer in writing prior to any installation. <br />The drawings are not intended to show each and every complete or accurate detail. <br />1. The figures and writing on drawings shall be taken instead of scaling. <br />2. It is this Contractor's responsibility to comply with the evident intent for centering and symmetric <br />arrangement. <br />3. This Contractor shall take and be responsible for all field measurements. <br />4. Exact locations and relations are to be defined in the field and shall be satisfactory to the Designer. <br />K. Because of the small scale of HVAC drawings it is not possible to indicate all offsets, fittings, and accessories <br />which may be required. <br />1. Investigate structural and finish conditions affecting this work and arrange work accordingly, providing <br />such fittings and accessories that may be required to meet the conditions. <br />Manufacturer's instructions and recommendations: In all cases, items shall be installed per the <br />manufacturer's written instructions and recommendations. Where manufacturer's instructions or <br />recommendations conflict with the Contract Documents, notify the Designer prior to proceeding. <br />3.7 TESTS <br />A. The Designer reserves the right to conduct acceptance tests of all equipment, piping, or any other work <br />furnished under these specifications to determine the fulfillment of special requirements. <br />1. Such tests shall be conducted in the presence of authorized representatives of the Contractor, Owner, <br />Engineer, and Architect at such time as the Designer may designate. <br />2. This Contractor shall perform all tests, bear cost of same and make adjustments of equipment and <br />wiring as may be deemed necessary by the Designer. <br />3.8 ALLOWANCE FOR ADDED WORK <br />A. Before proceeding with any work for which compensation may be claimed or the Owner may claim credit, a <br />detailed estimate shall first be submitted and approved in writing. <br />1.
