All points shall <br />be integrated to ems to provide full monitoring, setpoint adjustment (temp., etc.), oper- <br />ating schedule adjustment (on /off), etc. Fully functionality shall be possible via ems or <br />via local control. Provide all ems interface modules, parts, etc. as required for a com- <br />plete installation. Interface shall be Bacnet compatible. <br />5.02 ELECTRICAL CHARACTERISTICS <br />B. General: From each circuit board to the controls, the electrical voltage shall be 16 <br />volts DC. <br />C. Wiring: Control wiring shall be installed in a daisy chain configuration from indoor unit <br />to indoor unit then to the branch selector box and outdoor unit. Control wiring shall <br />run from the indoor unit terminal block to the specific controller for that unit. <br />D. Wiring Size: The wire shall be a non - shielded, 2 -core sheathed vinyl cord or cable, <br />size AWG18 -2. <br />5.03 CONTROLLER CHARACTERISTICS <br />A. Individual Zone Controller- Wired Remote Controller (BRC1 E71) <br />1. The wired remote controller shall be able to control 1 group (maximum of 16 fan <br />coil units) and shall be able to function as follows: <br />i. The controller shall have a maximum wiring length of 1,640 feet. <br />ii. The controller shall have a self diagnosis function that constantly moni- <br />tors the system for malfunctions (total of 80 components). <br />iii. The controller shall be able to immediately display fault location and <br />condition. <br />iv. An LCD digital display will allow the temperature to be set in VF incre- <br />ments. <br />v. The controller shall be equipped with a thermostat sensor in the remote <br />controller making possible more comfortable room temperature control. <br />vi. Auto - Changeover for Heat Pump and Heat Recovery at cooling setpoint <br />+1 F and heating setpoint -1 F. <br />vii. Independent cooling and heating setpoints in the occupied and unoccu- <br />pied modes. <br />viii. Backlight / Large native room temperature display. <br />ix. Setpoint range limit with 1 deg. F setpoint increments. <br />x.
