General: Daikin indoor unit model FXEQ shall be a ceiling suspended cas- <br />sette fan coil unit, operable with R -410A refrigerant, equipped with an elec- <br />tronic expansion valve, for installation onto a ceiling within a conditioned <br />space. It shall be available in capacities from 7,500 Btu /h to 24,000 Btu /h. <br />Model numbers are FXEQ07PVJU, FXEQ09PVJU, FXEQ12PVJU, <br />FXEQ15PVJU, FXEQI8PVJU, FXEQ24PVJU to be connected to outdoor unit <br />model RXYQ / RXYMQ / RWEYQ heat pump and REYQ / RWEYQ heat re- <br />covery model. It shall be a one -way air distribution type, fresh white, impact <br />resistant with a washable panel. The supply air is distributed via motorized <br />vertical and horizontal louvers which can be adjusted from 0° to 45° and 20° <br />to 70° respectively. Computerized PID control shall be used to control super- <br />heat to deliver a comfortable room temperature condition. The unit shall be <br />equipped with a programmed drying mechanism that dehumidifies while limit- <br />ing changes in room temperature when used with Daikin remote control <br />BRC1 E73. The indoor units sound pressure shall range from 26 dB(A) to 38 <br />dB(A) at low speed measured at 3.3 feet below the unit. <br />B. Indoor Unit: <br />1. The Daikin indoor unit FXEQ shall be completely factory assembled and <br />tested. Included in the unit is factory wiring, piping, electronic proportional <br />expansion valve, control circuit board, fan motor thermal protector, flare <br />connections, condensate drain pan, condensate lift pump, condensate <br />safety shutoff and alarm, self- diagnostics, auto - restart function, 3- minute <br />fused time delay, and test run switch. <br />2.
