The installation date is the date that the unit is originally commissioned, but no <br />later than 18 months after the manufacture date noted on the unit's rating plate. <br />d. If the date the unit is originally commissioned cannot be verified, the installation <br />date is three months after the manufacture date. <br />Complete warranty details available from your local Daikin representative or at <br />www.daikincomfort.com - <br />Part 3 - PERFORMANCE <br />3.01 DESIGN BASIS <br />The HVAC equipment basis of design is Daikin. All bidders shall furnish the minimum <br />system standards as defined by the base bid model numbers, model families or as oth- <br />erwise specified herein (see Key General Specifications Alternate Supplier Checklist). In <br />any event the contractor shall be responsible for all specified items and intents of this <br />document without further compensation. <br />Part 4 - PRODUCTS <br />4.01 FXFQ_T- ROUND FLOW SENSING CEILING CASSETTE UNIT <br />A. General: Daikin indoor unit model FXFQ_T shall be a round flow ceiling cas- <br />sette fan coil unit, operable with R -410A refrigerant, equipped with an elec- <br />tronic expansion valve, direct drive DC (ECM) type fan, for installation into the <br />ceiling cavity equipped with an air panel grill. It shall be available in capaci- <br />ties from 7,500 Btu /h to 48,000 Btu /h. Model numbers are FXFQ07TVJU, <br />FXFQ09TVJU, FXFQ12TVJU, FXFQ15TVJU, FXFQ18TVJU, FXFQ24TVJU, <br />FXFQ30TVJU, FXFQ36TVJU, FXFQ48TVJU to be connected to outdoor unit <br />model RXYQ / RXYMQ / RWEYQ heat pump and REYQ / RWEYQ heat re- <br />covery model. It shall be a round flow air distribution type, fresh white, impact <br />resistant decoration panel, or optional self - cleaning filter panel. The supply <br />air is distributed via four individually motorized louvers. To save energy and <br />optimize occupancy comfort, the indoor unit shall be equipped with built in <br />occupancy sensor and surface temperature sensor. Computerized PID con- <br />trol shall be used to control superheat to deliver a comfortable room tempera- <br />ture condition. The unit shall be equipped with a programmed drying mech- <br />anism that dehumidifies while limiting changes in room temperature when <br />used with Daikin remote control BRC1E72, BRC1E73, BRC2A71 and <br />BRC1 E52137. The indoor units sound pressure shall range from 30 dB(A) to <br />45 dB(A) at High speed measured at 5 feet below the unit. <br />B.
