Space Saving - Each system shall have a condensing unit module footprint as small <br />as 36- 11/16" x 30- 3/16" and no larger than 48 -7/8 x 30 -3/16 <br />L. Advanced Diagnostics - Systems shall include a self- diagnostic, auto -check function <br />to detect a malfunction and display the type and location. <br />M. Each condensing unit shall incorporate contacts for electrical demand shedding with <br />optional 3 stage demand control with 12 customizable demand settings <br />N. Advanced Controls - Each system shall have at least one remote controller capable <br />of controlling up to 16 indoor units. <br />O. Each system shall be capable of integrating with open protocol BACnet and Lon - <br />Works building management systems. <br />P. Low Sound Levels - Each system shall use indoor and condensing units with quiet <br />operation as low as 27 dB(A). <br />4.02 QUALITY ASSURANCE <br />A. The units shall be tested by a Nationally Recognized Testing Laboratory (NRTL), in <br />accordance with ANSI /UL 1995 - Heating and Cooling Equipment and bear the <br />Listed Mark. <br />B. All wiring shall be in accordance with the National Electric Code (NEC). <br />C. The system will be produced in an ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 facility, which are <br />standards set by the International Standard Organization (ISO). The system <br />shall be factory tested for safety and function. <br />D. Mechanical equipment for wind -born debris regions shall be designed in accordance <br />with ASCE 7 -2010 and installed to resist the wind pressures on the equipment and <br />the supports. <br />E. The condensing unit will be factory charged with R41 OA. <br />4.03 DELIVERY, STORAGE AND HANDLING <br />A. Unit shall be stored and handled according to the manufacturer's recommenda- <br />tions. <br />Part 2 - WARRANTY <br />2.01 STANDARD LIMITED WARRANTY <br />Daikin North America LLC warrants original owner of the non - residential building, multi- <br />family residence or residence in which the Daikin products are installed that under nor- <br />mal use and maintenance for comfort cooling and conditioning applications such prod- <br />ucts (the "Products ") will be free from defects in material and workmanship. This war- <br />ranty applies to compressor and all parts and is limited in duration to ten (10) years <br />starting from the "installation date" which is one of the two dates below: <br />a. The installation date is the date that the unit is originally commissioned, <br />but no later than 18 months after the manufacture date noted on the unit's <br />rating plate. <br />b.
