<br />SECTION 239500 — MULTI - INDOOR VRV SYSTEM
<br />Note: All equipment described below, along with all equipment accessories, controls, base refrigerant
<br />charge, equipment I parts warranty, etc. shall be owner - furnished (also refer to drawings). This contractor
<br />shall install owner - furnished systems complete. Contractor to furnish all material, devices, items, piping,
<br />wiring, additional refrigerant charge, factory startup and factory / owner training, warranty support, etc. as
<br />required for a complete functional system.
<br />NOTE: SYSTEM TO BE INSTALLED BY FACTORY CERTIFIED I TRAINED CONTRACTORS (ONLY).
<br />SYSTEM TO BE INCLUDED WITH COMPLETE FACTORY START -UP AND 6 YEAR STANDARD
<br />WARRANTY.
<br />Note: Prior to installation Contractor shall be factory certified and trained by Daikin, Carrier/
<br />Toshiba, Mitsubishi (or approved equal) to install this system. Contractor shall furnish proof of
<br />certification with submittals. Also, submittals shall include factory piping, wiring, and control
<br />schematic diagrams indicating that layout of all power wiring, control wiring, refrigerant piping,
<br />control addressing, control devices, etc. have been furnished and/or approved by Daikin, Carrier
<br />/Toshiba, Mitsibishi or approved equal (otherwise, submittals will be rejected) — coordinate re-
<br />quirements with owner (since equipment is owner - furnished) and factory or factory representative
<br />as required.
<br />Note: SYSTEMS TO BE BY Daikin, Carrier/ Toshiba, MITSUBISHI OR APPROVED EQUAL. Daikin
<br />is the Basis of Design. FOR PROPOSED EQUIVALENT PRODUCTS or products that are not the
<br />basis of design, Equipment Supplier /Rep./ Factory SHALL FURNISH COMPLETE PACKAGE
<br />INCLUDING: EQUIPMENT SELECTIONS, EQUIPMENT CUT SHEETS, LAYOUT DRAWINGS
<br />(SHOWING ROUTING EQUIPMENT LOCATIONS, REFRIGERANT PIPING ROUTING, ETC.),
<br />CONTROL DIAGRAMS, ELECTRICAL DIAGRAMS, REFRIGERANT PIPING SCHEMATICS/ SIZES,
<br />ETC., AS WELL AS, A COMPREHENSIVE LIST /DESCRIPTION OFALL DEVIATIONS BETWEEN
<br />THE PROPOSED EQUIVALENT PRODUCTS/ SYSTEM AND THE SYSTEM SPECIFIED (IN TERMS
<br />OF UNIT TYPES /QUANTITY, UTILITYREQUIREMENTS, PIPING REQUIREMENTS, CONTROLS,
<br />ETC.). PACKAGE SHALL BE REVIEWED BY THE ENGINEER TO DETERMINE IF PROPOSED
<br />PRODUCTS ARE "APPROVED EQUAL" TO BID. REFER TO SPECIFICATIONS FOR MORE
<br />DETAILS. "APPROVED EQUAL" to bid does not relieve the contractor's from responsibility for
<br />meeting the specifications, coordinating system requirements and providing utilities to systems,
<br />etc..
