We recognize that diversity education and initiatives require
sustained attention to flourish. Immediate measures will be our
singers' exposure to new vocal techniques that will be implemented
in the Winter concert. We will use a post- retreat survey to determine
the response of the membership to the workshop. Long -term
measures will be the ways in which our chorus membership and our
continued community outreach evolve.
For the Spring 2019 concert, given the thematic content, the world
premiere of a Women's Voices Chorus — commissioned work, and the
collaborative nature of the performance itself, we expect a large and
diverse audience to attend in a gorgeous, newly renovated
performance space.
The chorus keeps detailed records of concert attendance, cost, and
earnings. The WVC Board and Artistic Director review these details
regularly and will do the same for our Spring 2019 concert, to
evaluate how to more effectively reach community members and
grow our audience base.
In addition to our own analysis, our concerts are regularly reviewed
and receive accolades from local reviewers, such as this most recent
review in CVNC: https: / /www.cvnc.org /article.cfm ?articleld =8964
How do you promote Women's Voices Chorus has a long history of high - quality
and publicize the performances.
