Therefore publicity to <br />publicized and <br />ensure participation is not needed. However, since the program is <br />promoted to reach <br />partly funded by individual donors, businesses and foundations, Arts <br />intended <br />in Action uses a combination of social media tools, including our <br />participants? <br />webpage, Facebook, Constant Contact and Twitter, to promote our <br />performances. We also work with a media and marketing company, <br />Brasco. This past year, a video production company, Centerline <br />Productions, produced three videos for targeted audiences, to help <br />us promote our work throughout the community. In addition, we <br />produce a printed annual report, thrice yearly print newsletters, and a <br />monthly electronic newsletter, to market NC Arts in Action throughout <br />the Triangle and region. <br />How will you NC Arts in Action draws from evaluations, direct quotes from <br />evaluate the success students, parents, teachers and administrators to see if the intended <br />of the program? targets have been met. NC Arts in Action has secured the assistance <br />of The Link Group in RTP. Link has developed child friendly <br />assessment tools who in turn share them with the WCPSS internal <br />evaluation and research staff for further input and refinement. <br />Gathering good data is a critical goal for NC Arts in Action. In <br />addition, the Arts in Action program success will be measured <br />through a combination of data related to: Number of students <br />participating in the program; Increase in pre -NC Arts in Action and <br />post -NC Arts in Action academic achievement and measurable <br />improved classroom behaviors; Qualitative data from classroom <br />teachers on individual student improvement and self- assessment; <br />Continuity of the program; Increase in donors and supporters from <br />the community; and Student school attendance on NC Arts in Action <br />days. <br />NC Arts in Action is grateful for your consideration of this $3,500 <br />request to help support Rashkis in offering this transformative <br />program. Arts in Action reaches hundreds of public school students <br />with an internationally acclaimed curriculum and teaching <br />methodology that truly changes lives.
