Many of our students have limited
opportunities to experience professional cultural arts performances
outside the school environment. To enhance and complement the
curriculum, the MES PTA aims to sponsor at least three different
professional cultural arts performances each school year, as well as
artist residencies for special grade -level intensive projects (e.g.,
pottery, poetry). We work collaboratively with the Arts Center and
other schools to carefully select each performance and residency to
respond to the needs of students across the community.
