DocuSign Envelope ID: BD01B7A1- D313- 4FO2- 9FOE- C26DFFC84BEE Organizational Goals Our organizational goals are as follows: 1) To provide clinical art therapy services to diverse populations at no or low cost; 2) To provide training to the general public about the benefits of arts -based therapy; and 3) To supervise students and new clinicians entering the field; 4) To conduct ethical and culturally- congruent research practices; 5) To advocate for the arts and art therapy within North Carolina and beyond; 6) To provide opportunities for diverse community members to display and view artwork at community -wide art shows; 7) To build bridges between diverse communities through the healing power of the arts. As stated above, this operational support is vital to the goals of our organization. By having an administrative office, we now have a home -base to do all of our non - clinical work. This includes grant - writing, fundraising, and research endeavors, marketing planning and implementation, meetings with staff and Board members, general organizational tasks like filing and categorizing photographs and artwork, volunteer coordination, and all of our other outreach endeavors. None of this was possible in the clinical office, because we couldn't conduct clinical and administrative work at the same time. Additionally, the new administrative office is in a communal space, so we are better able to collaborate with other local nonprofits. This allows for increased exposure of our arts -based services as well as joint grant - writing and event planning. Youthworx also provides organizational capacity - building workshops at no cost to its tenants, as well as free printing and internet services. More than anything, the communal office space provides moral support from other professionals in small, community -based nonprofits doing critical work in Orange County and beyond.
