DocuSign Envelope ID: E583A370 -7883- 4055- 9A74- 87DED49F15D9
Project /Program 123 Puppetry presents "See the Light" a giant puppet spectacle
Summary featuring Masks, Live Music, Dancing, and more. This run of shows
focuses on Social Justice, Environmental Justice, and unveiling the
hidden truths of society and history. This show is for all ages, created
and directed by Sol Ramirez.
It's important to display arts and puppetry but 123 Puppetry's mission
is also to focus on important social issues and climate issues.
Since 2017 we have preformed our shows at the Southern Village
outdoor stage, and while we don't have a set in stone date for 2019
shows, we aim for around Mother's Day weekend - Memorial Day
weekend.
Community Impact We currently have a crew of 10 people. We aim to impact both
younger and older generations, with the show being put on by
teenagers and younger kids to put the problems in society in the light
and to give our input on the matters. This year we have gotten
feedback such as "not coming to watch this would have been a big
mistake. ", "you guys give me hope for the future ", "I love watching
things that make me think." and "I can tell you're going places."
Artist Experience This will be our 3rd annual run of shows at Southern Village. I am 15
years old, and I have been around Art, Theater, and Puppetry my
whole life. Each year we focus on Social and Environmental Justice,
but change the theme and premise each year (last year's was
focusing on how we are all more alike then different). I am a
puppeteer with Paperhand Puppet Intervention, and have worked
with Tarish "Jeghetto" Pipkins as well.
Budgeted Expense
Budgeted Income
228d418f- dc8f- 48bb -91 dd- 595dad240adf.xlsx
Resumes of artists /administrators
Sol_Ramirezbio06l 8.pdf
Publicity Samples
Shoestringsofus2018. jpg
Work Samples
image.jpeg
5pictures _cast_puppets_masks.pdf
Video Sample:
External Link
Letters of support (optional)
PaperhandPuppet _letterofsupport06l 8.pdf
