2 <br />• 4. OLD 86 AND NEW_8fi_Economic Development_District (EDD) Amendments <br />To review EDD Districts including locations, expansions, retractions, uses and <br />processes: <br />5. The Preserve Planned Development Mixed Use (PD-MU), Rezoning and <br />Class A Special Use Permit <br />• Adjacent to and north of Pathways school site between NC 86 and NC 57 <br />• Rezone from AR to PD-MU with Class A Special Use Permit <br />• 470 acres <br />• Uses include single-family, multiple family, limited commercial, public /institutional and <br />open space <br />• Water and sewer was extended from Hillsborough for Pathways School <br />6. Commercial/Industrial Subdivision Amendment <br />This amendment requires that subdivision of commercial/industrial property follow the <br />,Major Subdivision Process to include minimum lot size, access considerations and public <br />road requirements. <br />FINANCIAL IMPACT: There is no financial impact associated with this decision. <br />Advertisement costs are included in the departmental budget. <br />RECOMMENDATION(S): Administration recommends APPROVAL of the items for the <br />November 27, 2000 Quarterly Public Hearing <br />
