(The Laws <br />Rules for Sewage Treatment and Disposal Systems) <br />The design flow, type system, and pump requirement are subject to change based upon the application and site plan or plat. submitted f <br />the Construction Authorization. <br />The blocked areas on the accompanying plat are the limits of the provisionally suitable soils as evaluated by the Orange County Health <br />Department. <br />It should be noted that all lots having aconventional-type drain field with,pump are reviewed at a minimum of every five years by the <br />health department as required by 15 A NCAC 18A .1961 (Maintenance of Sewage Systems). <br />Ultra Shallow Trench Conventional Systems are placed in areas with 24 inches or more of provisionally suitable characteristics and a E <br />inch soil cap is placed over the trenches. <br />Shallow Trench Conventional Systems are placed in areas with.30 inches or more of provisionally suitable characteristics. <br />Conventional Systems are placed in areas with 36 inches or more of provisionally suitable characteristics. <br />The approved septic areas should be kept free of vehicular traffic, logging, grading and' compacting activities. <br />This letter is to be used for.planning purposes only and does not constitute-any approvals. The only form of approval is the issuance o1 <br />Improvement Permit for each lot. <br />
