1 must be documented and justified in writing and submitted with <br />the monthly report to the Division of Water Resources. <br />Subsequent conservation and reduced Eno River withdrawal may be <br />required to mitigate lost water reserves. <br />4. County shall have the following specific <br />responsibilities in addition to those stated or implied in Table <br />l: <br />a) Coordinating the withdrawal, release and retention <br />of water at Lake Orange, Corporation Lake, Lake <br />Ben Johnston, and Piedmont Minerals to achieve the <br />water management plan requirements and to insure <br />the in- stream flow required by Table 1; <br />b) Informing the water withdrawers of the Lake Orange <br />level and the Hillsborough gauge reading when Lake <br />Orange is less than full; <br />c) Informing the Division of Water Resources when any <br />problems are occurring in achieving in- stream flow <br />or meeting withrawal limitations; <br />d) Accurately reading the USGS gauge at Hillsborough; <br />e) Maintaining and operating the retention and <br />release of water at Lake Orange. Maintenance and <br />operation shall include, but is not limited to: <br />i) legible scales <br />_- ii) clear functioning gates <br />iii) effective operation of valves and gates <br />5 <br />
