2006 <br />Februa. -- Staff submits final draft of recommended Plan to SWAB and then, with <br />SWAB input, to the Work Group. Deceives final input prior to submitting <br />recommendations to governing boards. <br />March - Staff submits final draft of recommended Plan to BOCC, summarizing input <br />from citizen forum, Work Group and SWAB. Public invited to attend and provide input. <br />BOCC provides guidance. <br />April -- Staff submits final draft of Plan to Towns. Towns provide feedback. Requests <br />for any substantive changes by Towns will be shared with BOCC. (This could be done at <br />AOG meeting, if desired) <br />May — Towns endorse revised 3 -Year Solid Waste Management Plan Update to State, <br />which includes revised waste reduction and recycling component. <br />June --- BOCC endorses revised 3 -Year Solid Waste Management Plan Update and <br />authorizes submission of 3 -Year Plan to State (Due June 30). <br />Summer — Star prepares comprehensive implementation plan for adopted Solid Waste <br />Management Plan, including financing, capital, and operational elements. <br />3 <br />
