Link, Jr. Government Services Center, downstairs meeting room <br />200 South Cameron Street, Hillsborough <br />Expected Attendees:Eight appointed Committee members, five designated resource persons, <br />Board liaison,meeting facilitator, and community observers <br />Desired Outcomes <br />x A wide range of solution ideas for the three problems identified by the Committee on July <br />22. <br />x Initial understanding of the ideas, their likely benefits and costs. <br />x Identification of additional information the Committee needs to generate and evaluate <br />solution ideas. <br />Agenda <br />7:00Convene <br />x Introductions <br />x Meeting Overview: The Committee will reviewthe proposed meeting plan, clarify and revise <br />it if necessary, and adopt desired outcomes, agenda, and ground rules. <br />x Review and adopt, or revise if needed, meeting notes from July 22. <br />x Approval of additional meeting dates. <br />7:20Solution Ideas <br />x What ideas do Committee members and resource people have for solutions? <br />x Build upon the attached worksheet <br />x Brainstorm additional ideas (postpone judgementtemporarily) <br />8:20Committee Discussion/Decision <br />x Clarify ideas from brainstorming <br />x What are the likely benefits and costs? <br />x What additional information do we need to generate additional ideas and evaluate these? <br />9:15Comments from Observers <br />Individuals in attendance who are not on the Committee will have up to 3 minutes each to <br />address the Committee, as interest and time allows. The Committee will not immediately answer <br />questions or get into discussions with speakers, although Committee members, liaisons, resource <br />persons, and the facilitator might follow-up with speakers after the meeting and topics of interest <br />may be placed on a future Committee meeting agenda. <br />9:30Adjourn
