Salary Grade 69 <br />has a hiring range of $33,052 - $40,173. <br />• ~ Changing the title of the existing Management Analyst class at Salary Grade 67 to <br />Management Analyst I, still at Salary Grade 67. Salary Grade 67 has a hiring range of <br />$29;979 to $36,440. <br />BACKGROUND: The duties and responsibilities of the Management Analyst position in the <br />County Manager's office have changed over the last few years. Because of this, the County <br />Manager requested that Personnel conduct a classification and pay study of the position to <br />assess the duties and responsibilities now assigned and changes since the last review. These <br />changes include: <br />• Implementation of the Criminal Justice Partnership Program in 1995, including such <br />functions as community needs assessment, grants development and administration, and <br />program development (Pre-Trial Release, Satellite Substance Abuse Center and Mens' <br />Halfway House). <br />Development and implementation of the consolidated Orange-Chatham Justice Partnership <br />Board in 1999. This merged the existing Criminal Justice Partnership Board and the <br />Juvenile Crime Prevention Council. The objective has been to identify, develop and monitor <br />programs to enhance the local criminal justice system in the areas of both adult and juvenile <br />justice.
