ORANGE COUNTY <br />HUMAN SERVICES ADVISORY COMMISSION <br />MISSION STATEMENT <br />The collective mission of the human service providers and funders <br />of Orange County is to create a c000'rdinated, efficient, and <br />effective network of public and private resources that provides a <br />continuum of preventative and ameliorative services. These <br />services should be client- centered, accessible, offered at a <br />minimum cost, and meet the needs for human development and daily <br />living of individuals, families, and the community. This network <br />should embody the community's values of caring, respect, diversity, <br />economic opportunity, optimal health, safety, and the enhancement <br />of self-worth. Services should be supported by a citizenry that is <br />informed and educated about the issues of human services. <br />
