It was the consensus of the <br />group to direct them to meet to develop a Draft 2000 Forum Agenda. <br />REVIEW OF APPLICATIONS FOR FUNDING FROM NON - PROFIT ORGANIZATIONS <br />Ms. Barber handed out the packets with applications for funding from Non - Profit <br />Organizations to the members for their review. They will each review the applications of <br />one or more organizations that they have no affiliation with, and return them to the <br />County Manager's office with appropriate comments. <br />Rebecca Young asked what the criteria is that the County specifies to these groups <br />when they apply for money from the County and is there a maximum limit? Corinthia <br />Barber said that there is not necessarily a maximum, but the criteria is whether the <br />groups offers services that merit the amount of money they are asking for. <br />Debbie Kinert said that another consideration in approval of funding is whether the <br />organizations are using volunteers where ever possible instead of asking for funding <br />ADJOURNMENT: <br />There being no further business, the meeting adjourned at 6:40 p.m. <br />Respectfully submitted, <br />Nancy C.
