HUMAN SERVICES ADVISORY COMMISSION <br />MINUTES <br />March 22, 1999 <br />1 <br />2 <br />3 The regular scheduled meeting of the Human Services Advisory Commission was held <br />4 on Monday, March 22, 1999 at 5:30 pm in the Southern Human Services Center, <br />5 Homestead Road, Chapel Hill, NC. <br />6 <br />7 MEMBERS PRESENT (Those Present Are Bold And Underlined): Judy Cox, Co <br />- <br />8 Chair; Louise Echols, Co- chair, Christine Barfield, Marvin Block, Beverly Foster, <br />9 Dee Gamble, Victoria Hain, Barry Jacobs, Lynette Jeffries, Deborah Kinert, Hazel <br />10 Lunsford, Eugene F. Pichette, Sue Russell, Herschel Slater, Karen Taylor, Donald <br />11 David Thompson, Jr. <br />12 <br />13 STAFF PRESENT (Those Present Are Bold And Underlined): Albert Kittrell; Nancy <br />14 Martin. <br />15 <br />16 MINUTES OF FEBRUARY 15, 1999 The minutes of the last meeting were not <br />17 discussed. They will be discussed at the April 19, 1999 meeting. <br />18 <br />19 REVIEW OF APPLICATIONS FOR FUNDING FROM AGENCIES <br />20 <br />21 Assistant County Manager, Albert Kittrell, handed out the applications from non - <br />22 governmental, non - profit agencies who have applied to the County for funding. <br />23 <br />24 The members divided in to groups and reviewed the applications and made comments <br />25 on the evaluation form provided by Mr. Kittrell. <br />26 <br />27 ADJOURN: <br />28 There being no further business, the meeting adjourned at 8:00 p.m. The next regularly <br />29 scheduled meeting of the Human Services Advisory Commission will be held on <br />30 Monday, April 19, 1999 at 5:30 p.m. at the Southern Human Services Center, <br />31 Homestead Road, Chapel Hill, NC. <br />32 <br />33 <br />34 Respectfully submitted, <br />35 Nancy C.
