Human Services Advisory Commission - Minutes - January 14, 2002 Page 4 of 4 <br />Non - Profit Funding Applications <br />These will be due back from non - profit agencies in early March, and will be distributed at the March 18, <br />_i02 meeting for the annual review and comment by the HSAC. <br />Ms. Hinton commented to the new people that one of the responsibilities of the HSAC is to review the funding <br />applications each year. She said that the process that the HSAC used last year worked very well. Ms. Wash <br />suggested that we use the same process for the applications. <br />Ms. Hinton said that her office is preparing to present them in mid - April. <br />MOTION WAS MADE BY Mr. Thompson, seconded by Ms. Echols to change the date of the April 2002 <br />meeting to the second Monday, which is April 8th, to give time for the funding applications to be reviewed. <br />VOTE: Unanimous approval. <br />Adjournment <br />There being no further business, the meeting adjourned at 6:42 p.m. <br />The next regularly - scheduled meeting of the Human Services Advisory Commission will be held on February <br />18, 2002 at 5:30 p.m. at the Southern Human Services Center, in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. <br />Respectfully submitted, <br />Nancy C.
