Rosetta Wash said that the opposite side isthat there are people who submit too much <br />information, whether <br />Hsac made a recommendtation from them as a group that there should be aclass or <br />technicalassistance for the non profit groups so that they can learn how to fill outthe <br />applications. This was the consensus of the group <br />Debbie and Rebecca saiad that it would be helpful to have a meeting and have break <br />outs sessions. Wash suggested that maybe next year we could have a workshop on mental health <br />and homeless.neess. it ws discussed that this draft agenda for the forum can be <br />changed or revised. \\ <br />R. young commented on the Ifie cycle stages and that it was a good structure <br />Wash would like to see a separate session on homelessness and mentall illness <br />because her fear is we wont give it justice if it is included in these other areas. <br />she things it needs its own disccussion.. <br />R. young said what would the best way to get speakers. <br />Jeffries says that substance abuse knowsno race, gender, color, age. Lynnette. she <br />believes that homeless ness started when Dorethea Dix hospital was closed. <br />R. yong commented that several of the issues are listed under a II of the categories, but <br />others are specific to the age categoriy. <br />R. Wash said the only thing she wuld like to see .address ed for the homeless is the <br />mental health issue. <br />.r young asked how the forum is conducted in the past.
