ORANGE COUNTY PLANNING DEPARTMENT <br />306F REVERE ROAD <br />HILLSBOROUGH, NORTH CAROLINA 27278 <br />c` o <br />ye ♦ P <br />OCT 2 41995 <br />a <br />MEMORANDUM <br />TO: Stoney Creek Preliminary Design Subcommittee <br />FROM: Gene Bell, Planner III )3 <br />SUBJ: October 25 Meeting of Subcommittee <br />DATE: October 20, 1995 <br />Our first meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, October 25 at 7:00 PM in <br />Conference Room 1 of the Planning and Agriculture Building at 306F Revere <br />Road in Hillsborough (map enclosed) . <br />Our task is to prepare a conceptual land use plan for the Planning Group <br />to consider on November 16. At a minimum, we need to be as detailed as Map <br />14 in the UNC students' report. An example of what I hope we can achieve is <br />the enclosed conceptual plan from the Chapel Hill Northwest Small Area Plan. <br />I see our task taking at least two meetings with a substantial part of our <br />first one being devoted to preliminaries and review. Please try to review_ the <br />plan alternatives prepared by the students paying special attention to their land <br />suitability analysis and the design concept, objectives, and process for each plan <br />alternative. Also, please try to review the Rural Character option presented on <br />May 18.
