However, if County <br />should run water and sewer at some future date, he will not be able <br />to take advantage of it. <br />Lee: But you will already have received a return on land from sale <br />of conservation easements. <br />Curtis: Don't like idea of lump sum; prefer some kind of annual/ <br />continual income from property. <br />Elio: You could set up payment over an extended period of time. <br />As large landowner, such a system offers you more. <br />Curtis: What if you had land tied up like so and pine beetles <br />infested 20 acres of it. Would you be restricted from cutting it? <br />Can we include wording to deal with issues like this? <br />Elio: Thinks conservation easement doesn't restrict you from <br />managing land, just prohibits you from developing it. <br />Gene: Reference to FDO proposal and primary and secondary <br />conservation areas.
