22 <br />of its agents, employees, volunteers, and operations. The Sponsors, anyone <br />employed by them and their volunteers shall not be, represent, act, purport to <br />act or be deemed to be the agent, representative, employee or servant of LES. <br />LES shall have no responsibility or liability for the actions of the Sponsors' <br />employees, agents, volunteers or other contractors. <br />b. LES shall offer Sponsors' employees and volunteers some or all of the <br />following Level l items identical to those used by LES personnel: Tyvek <br />coveralls, gloves, splash goggles or glasses as set forth in LES proposal. These <br />items can be provided by LES as a convenience to the Sponsors in order to assist <br />the Sponsors' employees and volunteers in remaining clean during a collection <br />event. LES shall extend to Sponsors the same warranties that the manufacturers <br />of these items extend to LES, but LES makes no claims or warranties as to the <br />safety or protective qualities of these items beyond those of the manufacturers, <br />and LES is not responsible for the use or misuse of these items by Sponsors' <br />employees and volunteers. <br />20. Non-Discrimination Provision. During the performance of this Agreement, <br />LES agrees as follows: <br />a. LES shall not discriminate against any employee or applicant for <br />employment because of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, political . <br />affiliation or belief, age, or handicap. LES shall take affirmative action to insure <br />that applicants are employed and that employees are treated equally without <br />regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, political affiliation or belief, <br />age, or handicap. Such action shall include but not be limited to the following: <br />employment, upgrading, demotion, transfer, recniitment or advertising, layoff <br />or termination, rates of pay or other forms of compensation, and selection for <br />training, including apprenticeship. LES shall post in conspicuous places, <br />available to employees and applicants for employment, notices setting forth <br />these EEO provisions. <br />b. LES shall in all solicitations or advertisement for employees placed by <br />or on behalf of LES, state that all .qualified applicants will received, consideration <br />12 <br />
