Related Activities from Revised 7 -Year Plan <br />0 3.5.b Support and market ERH services to existing and prospective patron <br />companies. - The Orange County TDM Coordinator will create or customize materials for <br />the major employers in Hillsborough and to Orange County staff to explain and promote <br />the use of the Emergency Ride Home program. ERH will be a priority as it addresses a <br />primary obstacle identified by Orange County staff to commuting without their personal <br />vehicle. <br />■ Proposed Outputs and Outcome Tracking <br />• ERH materials to hand out created or customized by end of Q1 <br />0 4.2.a Develop and implement detailed marketing plans. - The Orange County TDM <br />Coordinator will create marketing plans with tracking metrics for each major, regional and <br />local campaign. The Orange County TDM Coordinator will then create any necessary <br />content and media channels to extend the reach of unified regional campaigns to the <br />Hillsborough hotspot and Orange County facilities. <br />■ Proposed Outputs and Outcome Tracking <br />One marketing plan will be created per quarter following NCDOT <br />guidelines and best practices of partners. <br />• Outcomes of following these plans can be measured by how well <br />the plan fits with the actual process after completion. <br />• Enhanced Metric: Outcomes and outputs of these plans will also <br />be analyzed based on unit costs of reaching the audience (e.g. <br />$ /page view online. $ /listener tuning into radio PSA, etc.) <br />o Enhanced Metric: Tracking external trends to target internal <br />marketing inputs within marketing plans. For example, using <br />crowd- sourced information on local price trends in fuel and <br />parking to help guide our messaging content and selection of <br />target audiences. Another example is tracking planned and <br />unplanned changes to roadway Level of Service to target <br />marketing. <br />4.2.d Develop marketing campaigns that increase public awareness of TDM <br />programs and their benefits. - The Orange County TDM Coordinator will create or <br />customize marketing materials and content to use in all promotional activities in Top <br />Tasks #1 and #2. They will work in collaboration with GoTriangle leverage the experience <br />of other TDM Coordinators to customize and amplify existing marketing campaigns for <br />Hillsborough employers and Orange County employees. In the creation of materials <br />specific to Durham Tech's Orange County Campus and UNC Health Care - Hillsborough <br />Campus the TDM coordinator will coordinate messaging with the TDM Coordinators for <br />Wake Technical Community College and for UNC - Chapel Hill. The TDM Coordinator will <br />assist with marketing the new fixed route transit service offered by Orange County Public <br />Transportation and provide additional staff support to establish and market the subsidized <br />bus pass program. This task also includes the marketing and administrative activities for <br />the Orange County Telework program including supporting the online Telework training <br />and clarifying the registration process. <br />■ Proposed Outputs and Outcome Tracking <br />• Information on new routes will be delivered to 10 employers and all <br />County departments within the end of the quarter that the route started <br />in. <br />• Ridership will increase 5% from baseline on new routes and 2% on <br />existing routes. <br />0 4.2.f Develop and disseminate outreach materials about the success of the TDM <br />Program. - The Orange County TDM Coordinator will collect data on the importance of <br />Triangle J <br />Council of Governments <br />a <br />
