This
program's central purpose is to manage and promote a suite of alternative transportation modes
for Orange County, that will not only decrease the emission of greenhouse gases, but will also
create a more resilient transportation system by increasing transportation options and the
awareness of those options.
• This program is tied into a partnership with other existing local TDM service providers, as well as
the regional TDM service providers at GoTriangle. These partnerships are a recurring area of
emphasis for the County Manager and are a core priority under BOCC Goal #3 (Implement
balanced planning and economic development policies).
Orange County Commuter Options FY19 Program Goals:
• The OCCO Program will lead Orange County to become designated as a Best Workplaces for
Commuters.
