Include potential uses <br />and responsibilities and detail their names, experience and expected period of involvement. <br />All subcontractors shall be approved by the County in writing, in advance of beginning <br />services. <br />12.1.7 Current and Past Experience <br />Describe current and past experience highlighting services similar to those the County seeks. <br />Provide a list of references of clients for whom similar service was provided and their contact <br />information. <br />12.1.8 Technical Exoertise <br />Include technical experience in the operation of organic waste collecting, hauling, transfer <br />and processing. Include knowledge and understanding of applicable laws, rules and <br />regulations and experience working with regulatory agencies. <br />12.1.9 Data Management <br />Contractor's data management system for acquiring and tracking customer service data, and <br />method to provide accurate reports by collection stop to the County. <br />12.1.10 Education and Outreach Approach <br />Include detailed description of education and outreach program. This section should also <br />address approach to providing high quality and customized customer service. <br />12.1.11 Transition Plan <br />Include detailed transition plan from current organic waste collection that describes plans <br />and schedule of events for the provision of services. The transition plan will serve as an <br />attachment to the approved contract once approved by the County. <br />12.1.12 Collection and Hauling <br />Include detailed description of the project approach, highlight operation and step by step <br />approach to food and other organic waste collection, cart rinsing, and hauling. <br />12.1.13 Processing and Storage <br />Provide~ information regarding the location of the processing facility and the type of process <br />planned to manage the material once collected, including how residuals not able to be <br />processed will be managed. Include how delivering back the finished compost product will be <br />done and how this will be factored into the cost. Include whether the site has limits to <br />quantities and relevant safety records including any notifications or violations for the last two <br />years. Provide some evidence of compost marketability and three references that utilize the <br />compost, even a physical sample may be provided. <br />12.1.14 Pricin <br />The County prefers the cost of service be quoted on a collection, hauling and processing and <br />finished product cost. <br />12.1.15 Financial Capability and insurance <br />Include financial capability for Dandling services to be delivered, including Insurance <br />Coverage. Orange County reserves the right to request financial statements to establish <br />financial capability. <br />12.1.16 Alternative Proposals (optional) <br />Include alternative proposals for performing organic waste collection and processing. <br />21 <br />RFP No. 5247 <br />
