BILLING <br />The Contractor will be responsible to bill the County within thirty (30) days for services rendered the <br />previous month <br />6.1.1 Processing <br />Processing costs shall be listed in the proposal and included upon the bill if requested. <br />6.1.2 Collection and Hauling Element <br />The collection and hauling pricing as included in the final executed contract will not be <br />adjusted except as set forth in the agreement in Section1.12.2. The intent of the collection <br />and hauling element is to capture the full cost associated with labor, equipment, etc. in a <br />manner to provide the contractor with stable revenue to ensure reliable collection. <br />7. REPORTING <br />Contractor shall submit monthly and annual reports to the County by the tenth (loth) working day of the <br />month. The required monthly reports shall be submitted electronically and include an invoice for the past <br />months services, and shall include an itemized list of all charges to the County for materials used, <br />materials delivered, cost per ton, and itemized tonnages. In addition the total pounds collected for each <br />collection day listed by business, and the overall total shall be itemized. <br />S. MINIMUM PERFORMANCE STANDARDS <br />Following are the minimum performance standard that the Contractor shall adhere to all times when <br />conducting any work required under the Contract. Contractors are advised that the minimum <br />performance standards described below will be made part of the contract documents. <br />8.1.1 Collection and Cart Service Schedule <br />All collections and cart cleaning or repair activities shall be performed during weekdays only, <br />Monday through Saturday, within the time as outlined in Section 5.2 unless otherwise <br />specified by the County in writing. To the extent practical, collections shall be made on a <br />regular schedule on the same day or days of the week each at approximately the same time <br />on each collection day. Repair, cleaning and delivery of carts or dumpsters shall occur on the <br />participants normally scheduled collection day. If that is not possible, participants shall be <br />supplied with substitute collection containers by the start of their regular collection day. The <br />Contractor shall provide services on a holiday schedule to be agreed upon between the <br />Contractor and the County. <br />8.1.2 Collection and Handlin of Organic Waste Material <br />The Contractor shall collect from all specified locations. The total number of participants is <br />subject to change at the County's discretion. No participant will be removed without first the <br />County and Contractor following the guidelines set forth in Section 3.3. The Contractor shall <br />collect all organic waste material as required by the Contract that has been set out in <br />accordance with the current set out guidelines to be agreed upon between the County and <br />the Contractor. <br />The Contractor shall completely empty each cart and receptacle set out for collection. Carts <br />shall be emptied using the mechanical lift(s) attached to the collection truck.. <br />16 <br />RFP No. 5247 <br />
