Parlikad, Eleanor 1(innaird <br />Excused Absence: Tammy Jacobs, Josh Brown, Alex Nickodem <br />Unexcused Absence: Holly Fraccaro, Adrian Moreno, Kolby Herndon, Daniel Bullock <br />Staff Present: Annette Moore, Interim Director and Angela Rockett, Administrative Assistant <br />Guest: Bonnie Hammersley, County Manager; Corey Root, Homeless Program Coordinator <br />Welcome /Introduction <br />Patsy Barbee, Chair, called the meeting to order at 6: 09 p.m. The board introduced themselves. Ms. <br />Barbee introduced Bonnie Hammersley, County Manager. Ms. Hammersley shared with the board <br />that the Housing Director, Audrey Spencer - Horsley has resigned and that Annette Moore from the <br />County Attorney's office will be the Interim Director for Orange County Housing, Human Rights and <br />Community Development. Ms. Hammersley thanked the board for the work that they do. <br />Approval of Minutes <br />The minutes were tabled until the next meeting due to the lack of a quorum. <br />Department Report /County Report <br />Annette Moore shared that the deadline for the RFP is February 20, 2017. There will be two RFP's. The <br />first one is for the $2.5 million bond money. The second one is for the eight (8) county owned parcels <br />and the two (2) parcels owned by the housing authority that will be developed for affordable housing. <br />Other Business <br />Annette Moore shared with the AHAB board that the Pauli Murray awards will be March 12, 2017. She <br />will give them more information about the time and location. <br />Corey Root gave an update on the Partnership to End Homelessness. They are concluding the system <br />mapping. There will be two outcomes from that process. A lot of the input was received from <br />providers and talking to people on how individuals are moved through the system and what is needed. <br />There will be a map of all of the homeless service providers. Ms. Root stated that one of the gaps is <br />affordable units. She stated that the main focus of their work is trying to increase coordination and <br />systemize how people are accessing human services; as well as how they are assessed for program <br />referrals and how they work. <br />
