SUBJECT: SPOT 5.0 Input Point Results DEPARTMENT: Planning and Inspections ATTACHMENT(S): INFORMATION CONTACT: Nishith Trivedi, Transportation Planner, 245 -2582 PURPOSE: Receive an update on SPOT 5.0 Local Input Point Results. BACKGROUND: On May 1, 2018, the Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) received a presentation on SPOT 5.0 from transportation planning staff. This presentation included the Orange Unified Transportation Board's (OUTBoard) recommendation on Orange County's transportation priorities in Triangle Area Rural Planning Organization's ( TARPO). BOCC approved OUTBoard's recommendations with the exception of Efland Cedar Grove Road Improvements, which was removed from County ranking. The Orange County transportation priority ranking in TARPO were submitted as follow: 1. Deviated Fixed Route Service Implementation Vehicles 2. Old Greensboro Road Paved Shoulders TARPO staff will present its local input point allocation at a public drop -in session in Orange County, in accordance with their Public Involvement Plan. This is scheduled for May 29th from 5:00 — 7:00 pm at Orange County Main Library. On May 9, DCHC MPO Board released the results for a 21 -day public review period, in accordance with their Public Involvement Plan. The local input point allocation results for TARPO and DCHC MPO will be provided at the meeting. Adoption of local input point allocation is scheduled as follows • DCHC MPO — June 13 • TARPO — June 14 FINANCIAL IMPACT: There is no immediate financial impact associated with this item.
