3 <br /> <br />1. The Sexual Harassment Forum Subcommittee is still developing the questions for <br />panelist to be asked. Eight to ten (8‐10) questions will be asked to panelist to <br />facilitate conversation. HRC members were encouraged to email or <br />communicate ideal questions that panelist should be asked for the forum. <br />2. HR&R staff promoted the forum through local news media. <br />3. HR&R acquired promotional materials for the event honoring Sexual Harassment <br />month (i.e. ribbons, bracelets, banner) <br />C. Community Read <br />1. Dr. Stroman led a discussion on HRC’s Community Read initiative. Ms. Moore <br />noted Orange County Partnership to End Homelessness is interesting in <br />partnering on the Community Read depending on which book the HRC select. <br />2. HRC members will read the book selection prior to engaging in the Community <br />Read. <br />D. Community Conversation <br />1. HRC members discussed approaches to facilitate the Community Conversation. <br />HRC members will be moderators of the conversation. Dr. Stroman will be the <br />lead facilitator. <br />2. Ms. Moore explained the sensitivity this conversation will have on the first (1st) <br />amendment of the constitution. <br /> <br />VIII. HRC Events <br />A. HRC Forum <br />1. Other Business/Announcements/Upcoming Events <br />A. Ms. Moore suggested for the HRC to have a retreat or work sessions to discuss future <br />targeted approaches to engage and enhance community relations and community <br />conversations. <br />B. Mr. Scott goldsmith suggested, following the 1st retreat, there be a second (2nd). Involve <br />different groups and organizations to discuss partnering and combing efforts in the 2nd <br />retreat. <br /> <br />X. Adjourn <br />A. The meeting was adjourned at 7:36pm. <br />B.
