The purpose of these dashboards is to provide an <br />executive level view of how the county is performing on indicators in major public health <br />content areas as compared to the state, nation, peers, and available targets or goals. <br /> <br />There are 6 completed dashboards that make up the 2018 collection, which include the <br />topic areas of: Substance Abuse and Mental Health (with focus areas on the Opioid <br />Epidemic and Youth Mental Health); Chronic Disease and Obesity; Social Determinants <br />of Health (Poverty Mitigation and Access to Care); Sexually Transmitted Infections; <br />Maternal and Infant Health; and Injury and Violence. <br /> <br />The presentation will summarize key take-away findings from this year’s data and plans <br />for utilizing the dashboards to set targets and guide decision making in the coming year. <br /> <br />Packet includes: <br />1) Executive Summary of 2018 Public Health Dashboards <br />2) Bundle of Public Health Dashboards <br />3) Dashboard Companion Document (FAQ and Source Table) <br /> <br />Recommended Action: ___Approve <br /> ___Approve & forward to Board of Commissioners for action <br /> ___Approve & forward to ___________________________ <br /> _X_ Accept as information <br /> ___Revise & schedule for future action <br /> ___Other (detail):
